Amazing salads are de rigueur these days. Every gastropub goes out of its way to make them, but not everyone succeeds. Laughing Seed Cafe in historic Asheville, however, has managed to crack the code. Organic red cabbage, sweet carrots, juicy cherry tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and fresh sprouts topped with beet pate, an avocado, a side of sauerkraut and lemon-tahini dressing.
