L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Similar to the original L’Atelier in Paris and the other “workshop” in Tokyo, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Casino is a must-try spot for anyone who admires this Michelin-starred, Chef-of-the-Century-titled French master Joel Robuchon. You can eat at tables, but the best seat in the house is at the counter where you can watch the ballet the chefs and sous-chefs dance to make delicious food look equally as gorgeous to the eyes. It is a bit of a splurge, but with any luck at the tables, you can win yourself the cash needed to have this luxury meal.

Creme de la Creme of dining

Joël Robuchon’s Mansion at MGM Grand is considered “the” restaurant that everyone who’s serious about food must try. Dinner there is a serious affair -- the last time I dined there, we didn’t finish until almost 2 am. Did we really need three dessert courses? Probably not, but it wouldn’t be dinner at Joël Robuchon without them. Bring your camera, as every dish is prettier than the last, starting with the magnificent bread cart that leads into a spectacular menu of creative food works of art. Despite the highly choreographed ten-course meal, the couches and brighter-than-average lighting will make you feel comfortable, like you’re in someone’s home.
