Hiking Curacao's Wild North Shore
The mostly-uninhabited north shore of Curacao is like the Outback of the island: Miles of barren land and cactus colonies lead to the rocky, windswept shoreline. It makes for a great day hike and there’s a good chance you won’t see any other tourists in this overlooked corner of the island. Follow any number of hand-painted signs for hiking paths around Landhuis Ascension near the town of Barber. Bring plenty of water and SPF!
