It might seem like most of my Lancaster posts are either beer or hiking related, but honestly, it's what I like best about this area.
The Lancaster Brewing Company is housed, like many businesses and apartments in the city, in a historically renovated tobacco warehouse which gives it a lot of character.
I find Lancaster Brewing Company to be a great daydrinking/happy hour/week night bar, not necessarily somewhere you might go late on a Friday night, but in this case that's a good thing.
They just opened a huge outdoor seating/drinking area and have a great selection of microbrews. My favorites are the Strawberry Wheat, Milk Stout, and Celtic Rose, as well as the Double Chocolate Milk Stout, which only comes out once in a while.
A sampler at LBC costs $18.00 and allows you to sample fourteen beers, all that are currently on tap.
