Lake Ilopango

One of El Salavdor’s gorgeous, volcano-formed crater lakes—and the country’s largest lake, period-- Ilopango is particularly popular with scuba divers. The warm water is a plus, as are the underwater features, including volcanic rock formations, hot water vents, and caves.
