Whale Watching in Maui
You are correct, there are no visible whales in the photo. However, if you do fancy a bit of whale watching, Trilogy Excursions on the island of Maui is a sure fire way to get it done. They have a fleet of catamarans that seat up to 40 people, with departure points in Lahaina, Kaanapali and Maalaea, and tours that last for two hours. Light food and drinks are served, with alcohol available for purchase. On our particular tour we saw 50 whales, and at the end a school of about 100 dolphins entertained us with their antics as we headed back to shore. You bring the camera and sunscreen, and Trilogy will provide the whales.
