LA TABLE de Joël Robuchon

Incongruous architecture
A chateau in the middle of Tokyo? Sure, why not. It was built in homage to Marlinspike Hall, Captain Haddock's country house in The Adventures of Tintin. The book apparently used the French manor Château de Cheverny as an inspiration.

It's at one end of Ebisu Garden Place, often framed with beautiful seasonal flowers. Inside are two well-reviewed Joël Robuchon restaurants: Le Chateau and La Table.
