Eating Traditional Tamales & Ajiaco con Pollo at La Puerta Falsa
Made famous by Anthony Bourdain, La Puerta Falsa has been in business since 1816. Like most places in Colombia, with hundreds of years to perfect a dish the tamales here are insane. The mixed (pork/chicken) tamales (6,500 COP) completely blew my mind, but don't miss out trying the iconic Colombian soup ajiaco con pollo (chicken breast and corn on the cob in a rich broth) or chocolate con queso (hot chocolate with cheese). Go with friends, split it all.
