Many times seeing the art of another culture, country or people in a place non-native makes you weary as to its authenticity. Walking down this street in Monrovia, Liberia, you get the sense that although there is a level of "catering to tourism", the crafts being sold are genuine articles showcasing Liberia's past history and craftsmanship; especially the rusted metal rods used previously as currency in the country.
