Ancient Romans once flocked to the Stadium of Domitan to cheer on athletic competitions. The central site, now known as Piazza Navona, attracts crowds for its three majestic fountains, most notably the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers). The figures of this magnificent Bernini sculpture represent the Nile, the Danube, the Ganges, and the Rio de la Plata. It’s best admired with another work of art: all-natural flavors from La Gelateria Frigidarium.
