When I sat down and realized that there was an entire menu devoted to artisan ice creams, homemade with unique and local ingredients, I knew that La Cuisine and I would get along. With flavors like Plentitude: a chocolat macaron biscuit, with salted-butter caramel sauce, this ice cream wheel of wonder is only a fraction of the dessert selection at La Cuisine; the entire menu is filled with delectable, seasonal offerings.
A French restaurant at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris , a member of Leading Hotels of the World, La Cuisine was recently redecorated and is elegant, with a flair of whimsy. With an open air kitchen, guests can wander up between courses and watch the chefs artfully prepare their next delight: perhaps the Marinated Black Cod, served over a bed of braised black rice with lemon and ginger, or the French "filet mignon" of veal. My recommendation: try both.
Guests can dine inside, or outside in the garden terrace during warmer weather. Just a few minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe, Le Royal Monceau is an exquisite place to stay, to dine, and to be in the heart of it all in Paris.
