Hiding Out From The Afternoon Heat In A Lastarria Hangout
La Casa de La Luna Azul is one of those places that require a local's nudge to overcome the notion that those stairs leading up through a shadowy courtyard entrance really do lead to an authentic Chilean bistro. The dark beamed ceilings and arched windows, high ceilings and rabbit warren of rooms provide intimate corners to sit and order a Pisco and pizza, and watch the street below. The moderate prices (a lovely Pisco sour for $5 US) are further incentive to overcome your shyness and join the locals. Great pizza, drink selections and very friendly wait staff.
