La Canne a Sucre
Set over the water on the edge of a pier overlooking the Pointe-a-Pitre harbor and views of neighboring islands, La Canne a Sucre specializes in southern French cuisine, as well as select Guadeloupean specials. Set off the beaten track, it makes for a romantic, quiet dining pick when in Guadeloupe’s bustling big city. The menu offers numerous local choices such as cod fritters and lobster, but the dessert menu is also plentiful–chocolate fondant, coconut sorbet, are among the temptations.
