Kuroshio no Mori Mangrove Park‬‬

The Kuroshio no Mori Mangrove Park, home to the second-largest mangrove forest in Japan, is inhabited by several rare animals that are unique to such forests, including the endangered Amami rabbit. Visitors can view the entire sweep of this green and serene forest from the park’s observation deck. There’s also an educational center with photos and displays, as well as guided tours of the forest by kayak or canoe.
