Reopening of the Kunstkammer
After 10 years, Vienna’s Kunstkammer has finally reopened. The collection features intricate treasures from the Middle Ages to the Baroque and is guaranteed to make you marvel at the sheer amounts of gold, silver and ivory that are on exhibit here. The treasury harbors artifacts that survived from the Habsburg Empire and offers 29,000 feet of space for the many fantastical creations displayed. A definite highlight is the ostrich egg, which makes for an interesting addition to these illustrious halls.
