St. Patrick’s Day in Stockholm
Stockholm usually turns “green” for St. Patrick’s Day, a cultural and religious event that celebrates the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. Organized by the Swedish Irish Society, many Irish expats, friends and partners of Irish expats, and lovers of all things Irish gather at Kungliga Biblioteket to start the parade through town—which ends in Gamla stan.
