Hand-Pulled Noodles and Delicious Soup Dumplings in Midtown West
Although the ramen at this Midtown West spot isn't the traditional Japanese soup we're familiar with, Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen's brothy noodles are a delight. Chef Peter Song—who's a famous actor in China—hand-pulls the noodles in view of the cozy dining room, theatrically slapping the length of the dough against the counter. The result is chewy and slurpable, a great companion to the heady, comforting broth. Make sure to order the restaurant's other marquis item, too: the steamed buns are actually soup dumplings, filled with pork or crab meat and—you guessed it—more soup.
