Gyldenløves gate 9, 4611 Kristiansand, Norway
Kristiansand CathedralThis neo-Gothic Cathedral is one of Norway’s largest. Standing on the site of three previous buildings, the present edifice withstood a 1940 Nazi attack on Kristiansand. The interiors are modest but there’s a gorgeous altarpiece by Norwegian arist Eilif Peterssen. The church can be visited between 11am and 2pm on weekdays.
