Kristiansand Cannon Museum at Møvik
Five miles west of Kristiansand, this former military fort was built by the German navy during World War II to guard the shipping lanes of the Skagerak strait between Norway and Denmark. The museum houses the world’s second-largest land-mounted cannon, which had a range of up to 55 kilometers. Open daily from mid-May to September and on Sundays throughout the off-season.
