Apparently, there used to be a lookout platform at the top of Koko Head Crater. What remains today is the railway ties that were once part of a system of getting supplies to the top. People flock to this climb, calling it nature's stair master. You know the locals, because they're running by you. It gets insanely vertical 3/4 of the way up, which is where I threw in the towel. Will be back for a second try real soon. Amazing views.
