Chinese Fishing Nets
Kochi is a growing tourist destination on the Southwest coast of India. Calm compared with the perceived expectation of India, this little town has plenty of things to do from watching a Kathakali performance to Kerala region cooking classes. The Chinese fishing nets are a beautiful site to see along the water. They are still used daily by the locals. These Chinese nets were actually introduced by the Portuguese but the name has stuck. You'll also discover many Portuguese churches scattered about this intriguing place. Hop in a rickshaw and venture about.
