Ko Phi Phi Le

Visit a Viking Cave
If you’re in the mood for an ocean adventure, take a boat to the Viking cave at Koh Phi Phi Leh, the smaller of the two Koh Phi Phi islands, south of Koh Phi Phi Don. On the northern side of this uninhabited island you’ll find a cave with wall paintings resembling Viking ships, said to have been drawn in ancient times.

Koh Phi Phi Leh is also home to swifts, birds that build nests from their own saliva. Locals build bamboo scaffolding to reach the abandoned nests, and sell them to the Chinese, who make bird’s nest soup from them.
