Klein Curaçao Beach
Little Curaçao’s soft, white sands and turquoise waters are an island hopper's dream. There isn’t much else to do on this rugged, undeveloped refuge but swim, snorkel, dive, or walk over to an abandoned 19th-century lighthouse (preferably before the sun gets too hot). It’s like being in a mini desert, with cacti and other prickly plants growing behind the beach, where Curaçao’s aquamarine whiptail lizards and hermit crabs crawl and wiggle in the shade. The best way to enjoy Klein Curaçao is away from big tour groups—charter a boat or join a smaller catamaran excursion.
