King's Cross StationKing's Cross Station, a major train and tube hub in London's Camden neighborhood, is adjacent to St. Pancras (which connects to the rest of Europe via the Eurostar). As vast, busy, and sprawling as the great arch-roof station is today, it's hard to believe that it once had only two tracks. The station's recurring role in the Harry Potter books and subsequent movies has made it a popular tourist destination, especially for families visiting London. The station erected a plaque on a spot that was designated Platform 9 3/4 (a magical portal through which only Hogwarts students and their families could pass), as well a luggage trolley, halfway embedded in the brickwall, as though pushing through it.
