King Jan III Sobieski Monument

Equestrian monument moved from Lviv
Back in the 17th century, Polish king Sobieski saved Europe from the invading Turks by defeating them at Vienna. In addition to this impressive equestrian statue, unveiled in pre-Soviet Lviv (now Ukrainian) but now situated in the middle of what is essentially a roundabout, he also has a very popular brand of vodka named after him.
