Visit the King Abdullah Mosque
One of Amman's most distinctive landmarks, the azure blue dome of the King Abdullah Mosque can be seen for miles across the city. This is one of the few mosques in Jordan that can be entered by non-Muslims, so it's well worth a visit. The vast interior is deliberately plain and simple, making a sharp contrast to the modern, geometrically bold exterior.
