Ken Sanders Rare Books
You don't have to be a bookworm to love the vibe and the stacks of books at this antiquarian bookshop in downtown Salt Lake City
. Ken Sanders, who opened his first location in Salt Lake City in 1990 and moved it to its current location in 1997, specializes in books about Utah and the American West, with a particular focus on the Grand Canyon and the Colorado
River as well as on the Mormons. In addition to books, you'll find art, photographs, and various ephemera. Ken, who started collecting books in his youth, has received the Salt Lake City Mayor's Award for Contributions to the Arts. The shop continues to hold strong in an era of vanishing bookstores.
