Kantin
Kantin serves the kind of food your grandmother might make, if she were a Turkish society lady who power lunches. After 16 successful years in the posh Nişantaşı neighborhood, the restaurant moved a few blocks down the hill to the Milli Reasürans Han, a warren of restaurants and shops under an office tower. The new location comes with a bar (no alcohol in the original restaurant) and printed menus that tell you what’s being served hergün (today) and bugün (everyday). A selection of prepared salads, entrees, and baked goods are also available for takeout from the dukkan (shop) also in the same passage.
