White Nights in Finland
As the son of a Finnish mother I was lucky to spend my summers growing up in this magical country. A country that has thousands of lakes where the water is so clean you can drink it like bottled water makes for special place. Last summer I spent a week in a cabin on a lake and we were the only people for miles around. Days were spent swimming followed by trekking through pine forests. And at the height of summer the white nights meant we only saw a few hours of darkness each day. Idyllic personified.
