The Jurong Bird Park may be small at just 0.2 square kilometers (49 acres), but it has 5,000 individuals from 400 species living inside. A nine-story-high aviary with a waterfall is home to 15 kinds of lories, which are a type of parrot. A number of penguin species reside here, as do flamingos and pelicans. Various birds of prey are brought out to show off their hunting prowess.
