Juniors Tavern
This local neighborhood-style bar is steeped in history and promotes itself as a place for jazz, blues, and booze. An eclectic mix of customers find themselves there from midday—business people needing to decompress after a big meeting, poets seeking inspiration, an active happy-hour crowd, and — as described above — a place to just chill and listen to the tunes. Originally opened in 1974, Juniors relocated in 2005 and now hosts a large collection of old beer cans on display in a case, as well as an impressive assortment of jazz memorabilia.
