Jazz à Juan
Ella crooned Summertime at Juan les Pins in 1964 and the moment still feels alive when listening to the soundtrack. What began as an hommage to Jazz legend Sidney Bichet instantly became one of the world’s most prestigious jazz festivals, Jazz à Juan has been drawing aficionados to the beach for over half a century. Music takes over the town for one week every July, with 3 or 4 acts a night, as well as an official “off” festival for lesser known acts. The festival is proud to present every kind of jazz, from Gospel to Electro-Jazz performed by international stars like Sting, Macy Grey, Jamie Cullum and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
