Johanna and Clara-Zetkin-Park
These two parks at the heart of Leipzig offer lots of options for those who love sports and open-air activities. You can ride a bike and explore the parks, or enjoy a grill in the summertime. The parks are also good for book lovers, and they are crowded with people playing songs or enjoying a beer in the middle of the day. Families with children are also frequent visitors, given the facilities are for the little ones. The neo-gothic Lutheran church in Johannapark also offers musical activities throughout the year, including performances of the Requiem. Some of these activities are free of charge.
