Getting around in Jersey City: the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail
Getting around in Jersey City isn't terribly hard if you don't have a car. The PATH train has a stop in Jersey City, for starters, and there are plenty of places you can take the Bergen-Hudson Light Rail to.

Stops include the Lincoln Harbor, Newport, Liberty State Park, Exchange Place and MLK Drive and more.

The Bergen-Hudson Light Rail operates on a proof of payment system, meaning you are expect to do the ethical thing and purchase tickets from vending machines found on the platform. Inspectors do come from time to time and will fine you if you do not have proof of payment.

The fare, as of June 17, 2013, is $2.10 each way for adults. There are also reduced fares available for children and senior citizens.
