Jeju Folk Arts Complex

Idoi-dong, Jeju, South Korea

At the Jeju Folk Arts Complex, you’ll find beautiful handicrafts, paintings and sculptures—and the creators of many of the works are on-site. Among the most popular gifts are the traditional Jeju outfits known as garot, from the Korean word for persimmon, long used to dye these garments. Although there are hundreds of shops in Jeju that sell local wares, the Folk Arts Complex is known for showcasing genuine, high-quality pieces. Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
