Jaguar Rescue Center

Mon - Sat 9:30am - 11am, 11:30am - 1pm
Jaguar Rescue Center In a country often referred to as the world's originator of the eco-tourism model, it should come as little surprise that one of the top attractions in southern Costa Rica is a center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and abandoned animals. While its name would lead you to believe that it handles only big cats, the Jaguar Rescue Center, which is open for tours, is also home to other Central American fauna, including anteaters, monkeys, sloths and beautiful tropical birds. Visitors get to witness the volunteers working to rehab animals for eventual release to the wild.
