Born in the Oakland slums, Jack London ran away to sea on a sealing ship and eventually washed up in the Klondike as a prospector. These years inspired some of the American author’s best-loved works, including White Fang and The Call of the Wild. Celebrate his life at this quaint museum, which includes a replica of his home, half of which was built out of the logs from his cabin on the north fork of Henderson Creek (the remainder of the wood wound up in his California hometown).
