Kakadu's "Black Cloud"
Tens of thousands of black and little red flying foxes roost around the schools and parklands of the Jabiru township in Kakadu National Park. As if on cue, as soon as the sky shows the inky signs of dusk, the flying foxes leave their trees en masse and soar and circler like the winged monkeys in The Wizard of Oz to declare nightfall.
