The Irish Village was initially built in 1996 to cater to spectators arriving for the Dubai Tennis Championships. But over the years, it has became a city staple in its own right. In this strange little settlement within a tennis complex, you’ll find traditional Irish architecture, plenty of green things, and even geese and duck waiting to make friends with you. The staff at the pubs and restaurants are imported from Ireland by the government. Check the event calendar to see if your trip coincides with one of the Village's popular concerts, or come have a pint and watch the pubs shake to life during broadcast football matches.
