Best View of the Southern Desert and Water
Khor Al Adaid and its inland sea to the south of Qatar, shares a side with Saudi Arabia and has a shore in both countries. It is the only place in Qatar where you can get a picture of both countries’ shorelines without hopping on a plane. The Inland Sea, an inlet of the Arabian Gulf, is known for its steep slopes great for dune bashing, sand skiing and snowboarding. The Inland Sea is a favorite place to go camel riding, have tea at a Bedouin camp, go swimming, and have a new appreciation for the Qatari desert.
