Great Airport for A Cultural Layover
Incheon airport in Seoul, Korea, is one of the best airports ever if you have a long layover! There's a large selection of eating options plus a "transit hotel" right inside the terminal (near the gates) where you can get a few hours' sleep at a reasonable price. My favorite thing, though, were all the cultural attractions throughout the terminal to keep you occupied until your next fight. There is a branch of the National Museum of Korea that is open from 7am - 10pm, a workshop where you can learn about and even make your own Korean traditional crafts and there are periodic "parades" throughout the terminal with actors dressed as the Korean royal family and their entourage of more than 20 people, complete with traditional music. (The guys in the photo would not be able to get those weapons through security nowadays!)
