Golden sands at Inch Beach
Dingle and the southwest of Ireland has many amazing beaches but one of the best has to be Inch Beach, which despite its name, actually measures nearly 5km long.
The beach is a sand spit which stretches out into the bay rather than running along the shoreline and behind the sand is a row of dunes.
The beach is popular for swimming, surfing and fishing and has lifeguards in summer months – or enjoy a bracing long walk on the beach any time of year, when you might have the beach all to yourself to enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounds of County Kerry.
