We went to rent a couple of bikes. While there we noticed children in the back year looking up into the trees. The tree limbs, which we were standing under, were full of iguanas.
We rented bikes for $10/200 pesos for the day and went on a couple of hour excursion to the surfer beach, La Saladita. We biked across a beach where we rode parallel to a coconut orchard, took the beach in order to pass the river head, went along a path through the jungle and several small villages. Our direction were written out on a cocktail map by Antonio of Antonia's restaurant. His last words were 'it's an easy trip'. Two hours later we arrived happy and exhausted!
