i8 Gallery

Tryggvagata 16, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland

Reykjavík’s creative scene is home to an ever-swelling number of emerging and established artists. Although the city’s galleries come in all guises, i8 remains the hub for top-quality local and international work. Past exhibitions include multimedia installations by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, as well as works by renowned American artists, such as Lawrence Weiner. The gallery also represents contemporary Icelandic artists working in abstract, minimalist, or conceptual styles.
