Dining at the Cliff House
Not only is the food here good – the House Restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2011 for its creative menu using the best local ingredients – but the cliff-side setting makes it a special place to dine. Menus change regularly and a signature dishes might include Black Angus beef with garden spinach, potato, Kilbeggan whiskey, beef tea and garden herbs. Tasting menus and wine pairings are available. The cliff walk is perfect for working up a pre-dinner appetite and the restaurant’s setting overlooking the sea in this quiet West Waterford village brings magnificent sunset views, especially from the outdoor terrace.
