Birthplace of Anne of Clèves
Attention English history buffs: Anne of Clèves - she who married England's King Henry VIII and lived to tell the tale, clever lady - was born here in 1515. The Hôtel Ravenstein (formerly Hôtel de Clèves-Ravenstein) is the last remaining example of a Burgundian-style manor in Brussels.

Note the Hôtel Ravenstein is not a hotel in the common sense of the word but rather a "hôtel particulier" - a French term used for an old townhouse of a grander sort.
