The Germain group is on a mission to change the face of boutique hotels across Canada, and after staying at their Toronto property, I can say that are doing a very good job.
The hotel lobby immediately sets the tone of your stay: staff members all nicer than the other, a sleek, dark, modern decor that is very chic and yet welcoming, and, most importantly, rooms that are usually only dreamed of.
Not this time.
This is reality. And this is probably the best hotel room you'll ever sleep in. With luxurious, English toiletries, and a bed that you will never want to get out of, the Germain knows how to please its customers. And if you manage to score a room facing the CN Tower, you won't regret it. Hated by Torontonians but nonetheless very iconic for the first-time visitors to Canada's metropolis.
The Germain is elegance meets authenticity. It's comfort meets luxury. And it will forever change your hotel experience!

A Luxury Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Toronto
Luxury boutique hotels really have the power to charm and enchant, as they’re intended to provide a more intimate and personalized experience than luxury chains. But the problem is that it’s usually a hit or miss. During this past weekend, while attending a travel conference in the city, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square, nestled in the heart of Toronto. This hotel was certainly a hit overall, with a few minor qualms that could be overlooked by the high levels of customer service and stylishly modern decor. From the front desk to the concierge to the bell boy, the service was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to a friend looking for an upscale boutique hotel in the center of the city. It's literally moments away from the Toronto Convention Center so that's always an advantage if you're headed there for business.
