If you are looking for the most beautiful drive on a fall day in Oregon, arguably one of the best places to go is the Hood River County Fruit Loop. Over 35 miles of twists and turns, with amazing views around every corner and at the crest of every hill. With map in hand, you can easily choose the best stops for you. Love lavender? Make sure you stop and cut your own. Love alpacas? Pick up a few skeins of yarn, and learn a thing or two. Of course fruits, vegetables, and wineries are the biggest calling, and you'll find an array of things to fit every taste and desire. With our car loaded down with goodies or all sorts, we made one final stop before heading home for the night. The pumpkin farm was calling our name. And as we walked into the field to make our selection, the lingering view was one we knew we wouldn't soon forget.
