leaving fll airport and south florida where storms are the norm in the summer months the further thing from my mind was that i will be landing in one on the other side of the world 20 hrs later and that what i found out when we reach hkg all tru the flight we were never inform that one was going on all the captain said was that the last 30 minutes will bumpy due to some weather as we clear costums and i went over to get an octopus card and get on bus 21a which will take me to nathan rd and my hotel was i imform that everything was shutting down due to typhoon #8 and maybe the train will be theonly way to get to town at this time my brother who was traveling with me stared to panic he is not a traveler my 12 yreas old daughter was also with us but she is used to traveling with me so she was not worry as we did manage to get to hotel after 2 trains and a couple of blocks walk in the wind we reach our hotel the sheraton by the bay in nathan rd but also here was confusion as our room was given to another person the place was in chaos as there were travelers that had to retun to hotel due to cancell flights evetually we got our room and we slept tru the typhoon to wake up to heavey winds and lots of trees down ,but we got to do what my daugther wanted visit ave of stars see the skyline light show at 8pm and go over to sky 100 then on the 3rd day we left for singapore and indonesia were it was sunny and beautifull ....great trip
