Vienna Boys’ Choir
The Vienna Boys’ Choir is one of Austria’s great traditions. Established in 1498 by Emperor Maximilian I, the ensemble has gained world-wide acclaim and gives about 300 performances a year. Many-a successful musician has worn the iconic sailor’s uniform, such as Joseph Haydn and Franz Schubert, and each year only the most promising boys (and girls) between 10 and 14 are accepted into their ranks. Now you can enjoy one of their performances in Vienna, at their brand new concert space. The MuTh is located in the Augarten park, making it a very green, peaceful place.
